KITCHEN RENOVATION DETAILS
This was hands down the most extensive renovation in the house. We tore down walls, replaced and refaced cabinets, replaced countertops, appliances and light fixtures. Our original design did not include the columns but because one section of the wall was load bearing and the other section had gas pipes running through it–so indeed the columns were incorporated. I was actually disappointed when I got the news that the space wouldn’t be completely open but in the end I loved the result. The first two rooms in the house are dressed in columns and the ones in the kitchen complemented the theme.

**Tip…don’t be afraid to shop around..it is well worth it! And when shopping for countertops go with someone who actually has the slabs in their shop..the prices are so much better! As opposed to someone who has to order it..not much room to negotiate.**
