Dining Room Details

Last summer we came across this gorgeous marble top from Restoration Hardware Outlet but we weren’t crazy about the base. It was a brass base and the look we wanted was for a more casual modern look..the brass gave it a really nice glamorous look. Needless to say, Mike convinced us to get it and that we could just get a base from somewhere else or just get one made. Well, it wasn’t that easy. Finding a base was actually pretty difficult because of how much the marble top weighs and then finding a woodworker was even harder! But we found one and we could not have been more pleased!! Throw over Chairs: I have seen this look on Pinterest and when I was shopping for throws I realized so many were just too big and couldn’t get the look right…well then it dawned on me to use scarves!
