Collaborations are so fun when I first saw these sneakers in ELLE magazine I couldn't wait to get them! I don't know about you but working out isn't my most favorite thing to do but when you have cute sneakers it makes it a little more fun.

I've received a couple of emails from you ladies asking about my workout routines while I am no workout expert, here are some general tips that I have stuck to:

  1. Make working out a priority. Attempt to make it a part of your daily schedule or for at least 3 times a week for a minimum of 30 minutes.
  2. Make working out fun. Switch things up by going for a run, hike, bike ride or even call a friend to try a new workout video together.
  3. Eat Clean. This is so important–it is what keeps us healthy.

  4. Drink water.

  5.  Try not to eat after 6. Early dinners are favorable as our bodies tend to be mostly idle in the evenings.

  6. Maintain a Balance. Don't allow working out to consume you. Always check your heart with all things, keeping Christ the center and focus of your life.

Above all things remember our bodies are not our own. They were bought with a price, so let us honor God with our bodies. "whether you  eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God." 1 Corinthians 10:31  If you are trying to lose weight and discouragement comes your way, rely on God for strength and motivation. God gives us the desires of our hearts if it is what will bring him the most glory and honor.

*For encouragement/motivation memorize 1 Cor 6:19-20, 1 Cor 3:16-17 and Romans 12:1-2*

Thank you for continuing to stop by and for all of your encouraging loving emails.
