PREGNANCY UPDATE 30 WEEKS

This has probably been the most requested blogpost ♡ which delights me greatly because I love Apollos so much I want him to have the same attention Michael did! But here I am at 30 weeks doing my first pregnancy update..which in part was because I didn’t want to take any attention away from Michael’s first year. haha Crazy mom talk and feelings I know

So I thought I would write this post in more of a FAQ style since I have received recurring questions.

  1. How different are your pregnancies? - To be honest if this wasn’t baby #2 I literally would have thought I was pregnant with Michael all over again. They are extremely identical, from fatigue in my first trimester to being able to run everyday. It literally amazes me how similar both of my pregnancies have been.

  2. Are you still running? - Yes, but not as much only because of lack of time. With chasing Michael around all day and maintaining my wifely duties it doesn’t leave much time for more than 30-60 minute runs. But I definitely make it a priority to run 6x a week literally makes me feel amazing!

  3. Morning Sickness? Fatigue? Cravings? -No, yes, and kind of. Thankfully I never experienced morning sickness, I was extremely fatigued all of first trimester up until week 22. No crazy cravings but I do love food it taste amazing! Energy is slowly coming back but I’m not sure if my tiredness is due to just being a mom or pregnancy at this point! haha

  4. Weight Gain? Stretch Marks? - Yes I am up 9 pounds and I’m not sure about stretch marks. With Michael I got stretch marks right around 38 weeks and this time I noticed them right at 20 weeks so I’m not sure if it’s the same ones just getting stretched out or if I have gotten new ones…we shall see. ;)

Overall being pregnant the second time around is AHHHMAZING! The fear of the unknown is nonexistent! I know exactly what to expect so nothing seems scary or alarming. Which makes me soooo excited about being a second time mom…but just recently I have started getting nervous about having two children and what that will be like. I am so thankful for you ladies and it brings me so much joy to see you keep up with the blog and our ordinary life! With so much love, Nioby
