The hardest part of planning our trip was deciding where to stay, Downtown LA, Beverly Hills, Hollywood, West Hollywood, Santa Monica..I mean seriously LA you are huge!! I am so thankful we stayed in West Hollywood for it's central location but Beverly Hills and Hollywood would have been just as fine. I am so thankful we visited downtown LA and did not stay there since it is close to 40 minutes away from the touristy sitings depending on traffic. We did enjoy our visit oh so much, we loved walking down each street and looking for cool little shops to check out. I had to keep reminding myself I was in LA because it felt like DC but then I would look up and see the gorgeous palms.

My favorite stop was visiting Bottege Louie which was recommended by Virgen Walcott, and I am so thankful she did! This was the absolute prettiest Macaron shop I have ever seen not to mention they are also the most gorgeous cafe! I wanted to take all the macarons with me but I quickly found out that these lovely macarons are available to order online! Click here to order.

We spent our last day at Universal Studios riding the rides, munching on dip n dots and taking pictures with the Minions! The Lord blessed us with an amazing trip, we are truly oh so thankful to have been able to get away for a couple of days and spend one on one time with each other. I'm already thinking about our next trip! Any suggestions?
