Happy Monday, Ladies! This past week I was reminded of God's sovereignty and am truly thankful. One of the hardest things in our christian walk is understanding God's sovereignty and responding with a joyful and meek spirit. No matter how much we plan, or how much time we spend making sure we have all grounds covered for our plans, the unexpected will always happen. It is in those moments we guard our hearts and act with the fruits of the spirit. I have learned to accept that the unexpected will always happen, but that doesn't mean we go around complaining, pitying ourselves, but rather we smile and thank the Lord for intervening and wrecking our plans. "The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps." ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭16:9"Come now, you who say, 'Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit'–yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. Instead you out to say, 'If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.'" James 4:13-15 So whatever comes your way today, smile and thank the Lord for every blessing in your life including the trials and sufferings. Love you all! xox
