H A P P Y  N E W  Y E A R  L A D I E S !

If you are anything like me you have anxiously been waiting for the new year, to implement new goals, start fresh, and to embraces new changes in your life. You have probably bought yourself a pretty little planner, written out your new year's resolutions and are already off to a good start. If so, we are practically twins! ;)

Goals and aspirations are wonderful to have and achieve–there is such a great feeling in accomplishing / overcoming obstacles in our lives. One of my goals for the New Year is to study God's word every day, if you would also like to do this here is the reading plan I am using–Bible Reading Plan.  I am also challenging myself to depend on God for everything, to be more like Jesus and to be a disciple of His. As this year progresses, as some goals get accomplished and as others don't–remind yourself that while getting a masters, losing 15 pounds, acquiring a new promotion, buying a house are all great plans but pursuing God's will should always come first. Continue to keep Christ first, continue to seek His kingdom above all things and continue to chase after Him.

"and whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him." Colossians 3:12

"Come now, you who say, 'Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit'–yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. Instead you ought to say, 'If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.'" James 4:13-15

If you would like extra encouragement as we start the new year, here is a sermon that has really encouraged me–Planning For the New YearIf you love to write things out and are looking for a pretty little planner/journal I love the 8 planner's KCS has picked out–Planners for 2015
